Geminids is one of the best and reliable meteor showers to observe. The shower is probably the debris from the asteroid 3200 Phaethon. In India, the shower can be observed in the early morning skies of December 14 and 15. Location of the radiant and other details are given below. Radiant will rise at about 8 pm in the evening and culminate at about 3 am. (Moon will set before 01.30 am, thereby freeing the early morning skies for meteor observations.)
