30 hrs of Astronomy: Certificate Course for Astronomy Enthusiasts !<\/strong><\/p>\n

This course is aimed at astronomy enthusiasts and beginners. One of the main feature of this course is the stress given for Positional, Conceptual and Observational aspects of astronomy. Further to ensure that students with inclination towards physics will also find the course sufficiently attractive, there are talks on astro-physics as well.<\/p>\n

Successful participant will get an overview of astronomy and can take up further studies with Khagol Mandal to pursue this exciting field of science.<\/p>\n

Instructions:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

1. Lectures will be on each Saturday at Sadhana High School, Sion from 1730 to 2000<\/p>\n

2. There will be special interaction session for discussions once or twice during the course<\/p>\n

  • Admission to the course is subject to fulfilling of the minimum educational criterion. Final decision in this regards will be by Course Coordinator<\/li>\n
  • The schedule of the course can be altered, modified and the dates or the time can be changed as per the prevailing conditions.<\/li>\n
  • The venue of the course is offered by Sadhana High School considering the educational nature of the course. All participants should abide by discipline and rules of Sadhana School inside the premises.<\/li>\n
  • Smoking or drinking alcohol is strictly prohibited. Drunken participants will be debarred from the course and will be prohibited from joining the program. No refunds in case you are prohibited from the program.<\/li>\n
  • This is an educational initiative and all are requested to maintain the spirit of the program and co-operate. No unruly behavior towards fellow participants will be tolerated.<\/li>\n
  • Registration can be done using the mera event link.<\/li>\n
  • Cancellation of registration can be done till 15th June 2018, 2100 hrs. Cancellation charges will be Rs.\u00a0500\/- per participants. This includes transaction charges and other administrative charges.<\/li>\n

  • Participation to field trip is optional and at extra charges.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  • Khagol Mandal<\/strong><\/span> is a voluntary organization working for past 33 yrs<\/strong>. The aim of this group is to create scientific awareness amongst our society members. All organizers, speakers and volunteers are amateur astronomers sparing their time voluntary for this cause. All participants are requested to take the efforts in proper spirit and co-operate. We cannot run any program smoothly unless every participant supports us.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
