Khagol Mandal announces 3rd<\/sup>\u00a0Overnight sky show of 4th<\/sup>\u00a0Season at Neral on\u00a023rd<\/sup>\u00a0 December 2017. Whats better than celebrating the beginning of year end holidays in an exclusive All Night Sky Event with glittering stars and chilling cold with experts and enthusiasts of Khagol Mandal.<\/p>\n The program starts at 7.00 pm (IST) in the evening and runs up to 4.30 am (IST) next morning. The general outline of the program is as follows:<\/p>\n Date: Saturday\u00a023rd December 2017<\/p>\n Language of Instructions: ENGLISH<\/p>\n VENUE: Saguna Baag Farm House, Neral<\/p>\n Facebook page: www.facebook.com\/groups\/KhagolM<\/p>\n More details: Send email:\u00a0 abhay@khagolmandal.org<\/p>\n ENTRY by Pre-Booking ONLY.\u00a0 No SPOT ENTRY !<\/p>\n Tentative Schedule:<\/p>\n 1830 to 1900 hours: Registration for the program<\/p>\n 1900 to 1930 hours: Introduction of Telescopes<\/p>\n 1930 to 2030 hours: First Sky Session<\/p>\n 2030 to 2200 hours: Observations through Telescope<\/p>\n 2200 to 2300 hours: Dinner Break<\/p>\n 2300 to 0100 hours: Interactive Session<\/p>\n 0100 to 0130 hours: Tea Break<\/p>\n 0130 to 0230 hours: Second Sky Session<\/p>\n 0230 to 0430 hours: Observations through Telescope<\/p>\n These timings are tentative and may vary slightly depending on seasons and sky condition.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Charges:<\/p>\n Regular Ticket: Rs. 450 \/- per person<\/p>\n Student Ticket:\u00a0 Rs. 400 \/- per person for all students from 8 ys to 16 yrs<\/p>\n Child Ticket:\u00a0\u00a0 Free for all kids up to age 8 yrs.<\/p>\n Optional Dinner Ticket: Rs. 220\/- per person<\/p>\n Note: You can carry your dinner with you. Then you don’t have to pay dinner ticket.<\/p>\n Bus services and Tea given during the programme is complimentary.<\/p>\n The charges are non-refundable, even if the programme does not take place, because of incidental heavy rains or for any other reason beyond our control.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Paraphernalia Required:<\/p>\n You should carry your dinner tiffin (if you have not booked dinner), mattress \/ chatai for seating on open ground, sweaters, hand gloves, head scarf \/ muffler, water bottle and your personal Medicine. Carrying mosqrepellant like Odomas is recommended.<\/p>\n It will be reasonably cold\u2026so do not forget to get sufficient warm clothings.<\/p>\n There are chances that there could be mild to heavy dewing in morning.<\/p>\n Also, it is recommended to carry light snacks for early morning when we get tea.<\/p>\n Please note that we are not able to provide any of the above things at the site.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Where to meet ?<\/p>\n Meeting point is Nirman Park Society Gate on platform no. 1 at Neral station. Pick up from Neral station is arranged for the train timing mentioned and is free of cost. All those who join late or wish to live early will have to arrange travel from Neral to site on their own.<\/p>\n Mini Buses from Saguna Baug will pick up participants reaching by 1804 and 1858 train. Drop back will be after the program ends in the morning.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Location and How to reach:<\/p>\n Saguna Baag Farm House, Neral (W)<\/p>\n The 4.30 pm train on Karjat route from Mumbai Chhatrapati Maharaj Shivaji Terminus (CSMT) will take you to Neral at about 6.04 pm. This is a station next to Selu Station.
